Dave: With over 20 years of hands-on experience in woodworking and millwork, my journey into the trade has always been guided by curiosity, creativity, and a drive to build things that last. It began in my twenties with a few small projects in the garage, but everything changed in my thirties when my wife asked me to recreate a piece of furniture she loved—custom-sized to fit our home. That challenge sparked a realization: with a few ideas and a bit of math, you could make just about anything.

From that point on, woodworking shifted from a hobby to a profession. I eventually joined a large, well-known cabinetmaking company, where I spent years producing custom kitchens, furniture, and architectural millwork. It was there that I really honed my skills and developed a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship and precision.

After relocating from Northern Ontario to the East Coast, I saw an opportunity to serve a growing local need. I opened a small woodworking shop, focused on custom cabinetry and millwork for the community. Today, I take pride in every piece I build—whether it's a one-of-a-kind kitchen, a tailored furniture piece, or fine interior trim—bringing years of experience and a genuine passion for the craft to each project.

Josh: With over 10 years of professional millwork experience and more than two decades of personal woodworking, my journey into the trade has always been fueled by passion. I started building furniture as a hobby, often experimenting with designs in my spare time. It wasn’t until my wife and sister encouraged me to go back to school that I decided to pursue woodworking as a career.

While in school, I discovered a strong connection to the technical side of the trade—especially millwork and interior trim. The precision, planning, and detail involved in these elements of woodworking immediately drew me in. I developed a deep respect for the process and the level of thought required to do it right.

Since then, I’ve spent the last 10 years expanding my skills in both design and manufacturing. From concept to completion, I’ve worked on custom cabinetry, architectural details, and fine woodworking projects that blend form, function, and craftsmanship. Today, I bring that experience to every job—creating custom woodwork that’s built with care, precision, and attention to detail.
